Cavus-Bay , Adrasan is one of
Turkey's best kept secrets. Crystal clear waters, uncrowded beaches,
pine-forested mountains and green meadows. You'll feel a million miles
away from it all in this still natural peaceful breathtaking haven with
a kilometre long sweep of beach, set in a large horseshoe
bay. Adrasan Bay offers the ultimate escape from the pressures of life
with spectacular surrounding countryside where you can take a gentle
stroll or a more challenging hike. This local region remains
exquisitely unspoilt. To further explore we recommend that you take one
of the daily boat tours or maybe a taxi or
hire-car as local public transport is very limited. Evenings are
relaxed: Sample delicious Turkish cuisine in the nearby beach and river
restaurants or chill at the Gelidonya Hotel. Adrasan is not a
destination for those
seeking sophisticated nightlife - like a byegone age
where entertainment is strictly up to you - but you will surely miss it
after you leave.
HOTEL GELIDONYA is a small well established family run hotel situated
at the quieter northerly end of Cavus-Bay alongside an attractive river
and five minutes walk from the beach. Our Hotel boasts the oldest oak
tree in the village set in the middle of a garden restaurant. Orange
groves surround our
relaxing large pool area and additionally we have a small play
pool for children.
Gelidonya Hotel is open for guests
May thro' October............... Motel with off road car parking.
Trips to the many natural and archeological attractions of
the nearby area can be arranged incuding Boat Trips to otherwise inaccessible
beaches and bays. Adrasan also has a Padi Dive Centre and a
Deep Fishing Centre. Some limited watersports are available
for hire on the beach.
An airport transfer service (approx. 2hrs from
Antalya) to link with flights at all hours is
available to minimise your travelling stress
- please arrange when booking accommodation. |
